If you currently have screens on your home, and you do not open them weekly, or you have not had your home softwashed or windows professionally cleaned, you more than likely have pollen, dust and bugs inside on your windows and on your windowsills. If you have screens and you do open your windows...all the pollen, dust and bugs will be blown into your house. Once the pollen, dust and bugs get in, they can not get back out.
If your screens are off, every time it rains it will rinse your windows and keep the windows looking clean and new, but with them on and without proper maintenance, every time it rains all of the dust, pollen and bugs are now washed down to the bottom and creates this nasty gunk, which can also stain the paint on the windowsills. (shown in the pics below)
Screens make the home look dingy as well, and takes away all the natural light coming into your home.
Another good reason to remove screens is, bc spiders can make nests for their eggs in the window tracks (seen on window frame) and get get stuck in the tracks and it's very hard to get them out. With softwashing it will clean out all the tracks so you don't have to worry about spider eggs.
