Please stop telling your clients this is ready for tile. It is not! Or perhaps worse, just tiling and misleading your customer! There is ZERO water proofing. Concrete board is NOT water proof. Found this on a forum…. Yes your contractors matter. This toilet is the wrong offset and is too close to the glass. Your toilet should have at least 16” side to side. Simple things your contractor should be keeping track of and fixing during your install.
