🏡 SUBFLOOR REPAIR 🏡

When we pulled up the layers of old flooring, we found some damage to the old subfloor. NOT A PROBLEM! Repairs are being done and they will be as good as new!

🔨 Today is INSTALL DAY!! 🔨

This is when it starts to get fun so stay tuned!

Our oldest daughter closed on her first house last week and the only advice David gave was, “that tile in the kitchen has got to go!” Of couse, she had NO objections to that since he offered! 🤣

This 1950’s house in Smyrna has hardwoods throughout except in the kitchen. It looks like they remodeled the kitchen at some point and installed tile on top of wood which makes the floor a different level than the rest of the house.

Dave is tearing out both layers of floor - tile and hardwood - and is replacing it with new solid oak. Then he will sand and finish the whole house.

Stay tuned to see what a difference it will make!

These 50+ year old floors had been covered in paint, sheetrock mud and even linoleum in some places. We were able to clean them up and bring them back to life through the sand and finish process and the homeowners are thrilled with the results!
