Before & After✨ I loved taking this closet to the next level. So much space was gained going from one bar for hanging, to gaining even more space for hanging, drawers, and gliding shoe shelves. This transformation shows that lovely marriage of how both Design + Function can improve your space which in turn improves your life.

Before and After✨ This before picture was taken in the heart of summer… You can see jackets and other items have been piling up for some time. Even a monthly refresh can make all of the difference. Physically as well as mentally, when we clear out what no longer serves us, it allows space to bring in what we want and truly need💕

I wish I remembered to take the before picture so you could see the transformation, but this kitchen drawer was a mix of manuals, kitchen utensils, potholders, birthday candles and other odds and ends. We emptied all of the drawers, added these bamboo drawer organizers and resorted everything in zones based on where in the kitchen items were used. Some things moved out of the kitchen altogether. This is a simple thing you can do to make a big impact by making things easy to find… no more needing to dig around. Today is a great day to do an organizing task… you can start small with one drawer😉 The reward may feel so good you will want to do more✨✨

These last few weeks have been a wild ride.
It is so important to nurture ourselves and go inward to connect with what genuinely matters. We are being forced to really look at what that is. I started my business because I’m such a believer that our outer world affects our inner world. I love to help others find inner peace in whatever way I can. Creating order in our space is one of the few things we can control and it energetically mirrors inward.
Today I want to share another way you can nurture yourself and connect your body, mind and spirit, which is what we all need. One of my dearest friends and her husband opened their beautiful yoga studio last year in Chapel Hill . They have really pulled it together and now have so many beautiful offerings online that we can all benefit from. Their talent is a gift. If you are interested in quality yoga classes, guided meditations, dharma talks, yoga classes for kids, etc., please check them out. In addition to doing live stream classes through donation, they have a growing library of recorded classes through the monthly subscription that has a ton of classes for all. Nobody is turned away, so do what you can. We are all connected and support each other in whatever way possible. This is the beauty in humanity and gives me faith during this really tough time.
