DOWNING PARK: The Au Pair Condo Pre-Reveal. It’s a pre-reveal because the custom iron and glass work have yet to be installed on the wine room, and the wallpaper mural has yet to be installed down the stairwell, but we couldn’t wait anything longer to show you the transformation. Welcome to the au pair suite.
We worked on the Downing Park project for over 5 years and the au pair condo transformation has to be our hands-down favorite part. What was part of the original mansion’s manager’s office, stairwell, basement and boiler room were transformed into a one-of-a-kind multi-level au pair suite. Not just any au pair suite, a full kitchen, bedroom and bathroom and upstairs great room with floor to ceiling porcelain slab fireplace that leads out to a veranda overlooking the pool. Travel down the stairs past a powder bath and the moody wine cellar and to the game room. You’ll find another full bath next to the sauna and custom float room, right down the hall from the full gym and yoga/meditation studio. Not too bad for an au pair suite, huh?
