Our next meeting is just around the corner. The Georgia Hosta Society will host our September meeting on Saturday, September 19th in the Garden House of the Deen Day Sanders estate at 10777 Bell Road in Duluth.

The meeting will start at 11:30 followed by a potluck lunch and our featured speaker.

All are welcome.

Countdown to “50 Shades of Green”

Have you ever been to a hosta show? If you haven’t, follow us as we countdown to our show on Saturday, May 9th at Oak Grove UMC in Decatur, GA.

A hosta cut leaf show is an event where hosta gardeners select leaves to submit for judging by American Hosta Society judges. They look at the leaf size, shape, color and compare it to how it should look based on registration.

With many varieties of hostas, you are sure to see some you know and lots you will see for the first time.
