Hello, iris friends!

I’m working on a huge list of irises that will be available for sale this year. There will be all sizes, from dwarf to tall bearded, and many NOID colors that I’ve accumulated through the years. I will be cutting back on the number of beds at our place, and some have not been thinned for several years! Therefore, quantities will be huge; and by the end of the season, sales will be by the boxful.

Here are an additional 60 colors of TB irises available for sale this year. Price is $7.00 each plus shipping, as follows:
Medium Priority Flat Rate box $17.10 (at least 10 rhizomes will fit).
Large Priority Flat Rate box $22.80 (if your order doesn't fit into a medium box).
Invoices will be filled in the order received. I will send an invoice to your email address after we dig and I know that I can fill your order. If substitutions are acceptable, please let me know.

If you don't care about color and just want to get some variety, I am offering my choice of 15 colors for $100, shipping included. The rhizomes will probably be small-to-medium size. They will be labeled, but some will be NOIDs.

Today I have an updated post for my iris followers. We have been dividing the clumps of dwarfs, and recently I've had some inquiries about the TB colors available. The blooms this season were far fewer than normal because of last year's drought and little snow cover for the irises over the winter. Spring brought up-and-down temps (some below zero), and we are currently in a moderate drought zone with no rain in the forecast. So ... I'm going to be realistic; my goal is to initially tear up only three of my beds for redesign. My goal is to keep about 200 of my favorites (how can I choose my favorites??).

Below you will find pictures of 60 TB irises that I have for sale. I will separately post an additional 60 pics, since FB doesn't allow 120 all at once. Some of the irises are historic, some more recent, some are Dyke's Medal winners, and some NOIDs. Some are in limited supply, and some are abundant. I won't send invoices until we dig and I know for sure quantities available. Invoices will be filled in the order received.

I have priced my rhizomes at $7.00 each, plus shipping. I know that some colors will be far more popular than others. As those sell out and I still have large supplies of the rest, the price will go down. These irises need new homes! Postage on a medium Priority Flat Rate box is $17.10. I believe at least 10 rhizomes will fit in a medium-size box. Otherwise, the postage on a large Priority Flat Rate box is $22.80. Regardless of what you order, I will send the rhizomes to you the least expensive way.

The weather here in Nebraska has cooperated as far as cleaning up my iris beds, so I have made great progress with that endeavor. I only have three to go, out of 12 beds scattered around our property! Spent leaves and weeds are gone, fertilizer & Preen applied, and I am able to see the clumps. Some have not been divided for at least 5 years, so the clumps are huge! I am in the process of compiling lists of the colors I will be selling this year. There will be over 200 different colors of named TB's (24"-42"), about 70 different colors of NoID TB's, 5 colors of named MTB's (20"-24"), 20 named IB's (18"-27"), and 40 named SDB's (8"-15"). Years of introduction vary from 1500 historic to 2019. I have been collecting irises for over 40 years, and it's time to determine my favorites (that's hard to do), and find homes for the rest. My knees and back do not like the job of keeping the beds clean and weed-free! If you have ordered from me before, thanks again, and stay tuned for some colors not previously available. My sold out list is growing, so I have deleted the photos of the irises no longer available. I am shipping the orders out as they were received, and will hopefully be caught up next week, July 25-29. Thank you for the interest in my irises!

I have been growing irises in southeast Nebraska since 1989. My accumulation of over 600 bearded varieties includes tall to intermediate to dwarf irises, and from historic to current. I have decided to sell grab bags (or boxes) of at least 15 different irises for $80, postage included, shipped in a medium Priority Flat Rate box. I will fit as many as I can in each box, my choice of colors. The rhizomes will be trimmed and sanitized before shipping. If you can pick them up at our home, the cost is $60 per box. If you wish to purchase specific individual colors, the cost of each rhizome is $7.00, plus postage.
I will be posting pictures in the next few days of the intermediate and dwarf varieties for sale.
