DEPARTMENT SPOTLIGHT: Keeping 300,000 square feet of bustling office and manufacturing space might seem like a daunting task for the average person. However, our Facility Custodians, Becca Giles and Lynn Cooper, are anything but average. Over the past several months, both have entered our arena like “gladiators of clean,” always leaving a wake of sparkle and fresh scent behind them as they work. Each day, they tackle our very busy (and growing) facility with contagious energy, enthusiasm, and smiles. appreciates their hard work and professionalism, and we hope they’ll stay part of our team for years to come!

DEPARTMENT SPOTLIGHT: The Futureguard Fabric Department is a key function in building our awnings and shade solutions. Colors and patterns are selected from our extensive inventory of fabric stock and cut with precision for each customer order. This fabric is joined by a technically advanced fabric welding process, cut and finished with additional processes to a complete awning cover ready to install. Other products produced in the Fabric area include custom stitched awning products as well as high quality vinyl cover solutions.

Jeremiah Abbott has worked for Futureguard since April 2020. He is part of our aluminum door and window awning manufacturing team. Jeremiah produces side wing enclosures in multiple sizes and color combinations, from cutting the material to hand assembling each side wing to fulfill customer orders.

When not working at Futureguard, Jeremiah spends his free time at the local race track with his daily driver Camaro or hitting the slopes in the winter to ski with his father.

The unparalleled of our retractable awnings is due to artisans like Michele Woodham at our Auburn facility. Thank you, Michele, for your attention to detail and dedication.

Michele Woodham is one of Futureguard’s talented Fabric Specialists. Michele works with her team producing durable covers for our retractable line of awnings. She works diligently squaring the large fabric blanks and producing the matching valances that are made to order for each retractable awning. Her workstation has also become a favorite stop for treats for Harley and Annie, our plant mascots, when they come to visit.

When not here at Futureguard, Michele enjoys crocheting, hiking and camping. However, cooking and BBQ are her favorite hobbies, with baby back ribs her specialty!
