Another punch-list knocked out.

Today’s been a solid one at The Giant Handyman; I knocked out three mini-blinds, installed a new light fixture in the laundry room, and swapped out an old outlet cover. Small upgrades like these may not always grab the spotlight, but they sure make a home look cleaner, brighter, and better finished.

Gotta love a punch-list.

Today’s apartment refresh was all about preventing problems before they start.

I scraped away the old sealant on a rear door, installed fresh window sealant to keep the door window leak-free, swapped out a seized garbage disposal for a brand-new one, replaced the batteries in all the fire and smoke detectors so they’re ready to do their job, and put in a new specialty bulb over the range so the kitchen is bright and lease-ready.

A little maintenance goes a long way when you’re getting a unit ready to show.
