My love for wall finishes evolved out of my unwavering vision of the home I still dream of building and decorating. Fundamental to that vision are the surfaces – the walls, floors, ceilings, windows – and my fascination with Old World architecture and materials. Contemporary faux finishes are mere descendents – and clever imposters – of the original, unadulterated materials used in the most beauti
ful, enduring finishes in Old World Europe. Self-study, exhaustive trial and error, courses at the Phoenix Academy of Decorative Finishes in Phoenix, AZ and Vigini Studios in San Antonio, TX, and an insatiable hunger for running my hands over luscious walls and putting tactility to my own vision -- and those of my clients -- have kept me coming back to the trowel and brush, ever ready to fall in love with a new canvas. I have had the privilege of leaving my creative mark on some of the loveliest properties in the Valley of the Sun, and I am eager to bring my wall and furniture techniques, interior décor, and accessory designs to the heart of Texas.
