Our First Expo!!🫶🏠

Thank you for hosting the annual Home Solutions Expo Krumm Exteriors, LLC!!

We had such a great time connecting with everyone from vendors to community members!

This wasn’t just a booth—we wanted it to be hands-on and helpful:

🎯 We ran a riveting “Guess the Distance” game (with a laser measure!)

🟦 Demo: Tape test showdown (Scotch painters tape vs. masking vs. FrogTape 👀)

🛠️ Demo: Scratch test board
Scratch test your way through different paint methods over wood paneling to prove why prep actually matters… highlighting something many people don’t realize…

➡️ Proper prep makes or breaks how paint actually holds up
One of the biggest takeaways people saw firsthand:
✔️ Cheap tape or “just any”painters tape = paint bleed
✔️ No prep or improper prep = poor adhesion
✔️ The right process = clean lines + long-lasting results

After a difficult week losing a friend I can’t help but see God’s fingerprints carrying us through. He has been at work in providing moments of comfort amidst deep sorrow. What does this have to do with work? Well, I needed to work after a few days off. God helped me through by providing a peaceful home to work in. When I did the estimate a few weeks ago I even told the girls just wait because this home is really nice and calming. It was peaceful being there and when we began I noticed low soft music playing. I turned it up and it was Christian music reminding me of the hope and the peace we have. It was soothing to my soul. Then I got to converse with the homeowner about family and faith. She even had a sunroom with a corner filled with gorgeous plants that soothed me even more as I painted. God is in the quiet details of our lives. I recalled a verse that I learned years ago. He hems me in. He goes before and after me with His watch-care.
I know that the earth will keep spinning and life will go on with its fast pace but God knows I needed a soft landing this week- and He provided it in a number of ways including this little snippet, at work, on a gloomy day.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Nick Slavik Painting & Restoration Co.- one of the most respected painting companies in the country.

Touring their shop and operations—and having the chance to talk through both the craft and the business side—was incredibly valuable!
