Hi friends! One of our favorite projects is putting a new window on a wall that should have a window but doesn't. We did this window a few weeks ago, and what an improvement! The client now has a great view. Do you need a window or door on a wall that doesn't have

Hi friends, the weather warmed up just enough last week for us to tackle this door project. You might ask, where did we find such an odd sized door like this? Well, I gave my lead man the specs, and he built this beauty from scratch! Yes, we do odd ball custom doors. This one is maintenance free, and looks amazing. What do you think of this door? Thankfully, we have some interior doors this week. Spring is right around the corner, we hope!!! Have a great week friends.

Hey friends, happy new year! Every so often we have a job where we don't really have a plan until we dive into it. This was one of those jobs. This hundred year old bay window was a big challenge. The old sashes and storm sashes were the support for the bay. Once removed, we had to create three openings for the new windows. As you can see, it turned out amazing! We were very thankful it was in the sun, and there wasn't much wind. It was cold, but the guys and I worked our magic, and the result was beautiful. The client loved the finished look. Hi friends, it sure got cold this month, but we managed to get one more small landing and steps done for these clients in Hampen. They had this weird frost wall outside their front door. We built this new landing and steps right over it, then closed it off with our custom lattice. It turned out great! Contact us soon if you need any deck, landing, or steps done in 2026. Hi friends, sorry I've been absent for a few weeks. We've been taking advantage of this good fall weather. No snow so far, so that means we're still cranking out outside projects. The first picture is of a walk out basement door we replaced with an added ramp so the owner can easily roll out his snow blower and mower. The next set of pictures is a landing and steps we replaced - from old and rotted to fresh and maintenance free! The last set is of a small deck and steps we finished today. We don't know the story of the odd frost wall outside their front door, but we covered it over with a nice landing and wide steps, making a very nice welcoming entry. This one was start to finish in just 12 hours. One exterior door to put in tomorrow and then a nice break. From all of us here at K-Dogg Contracting, we wish all of you a very happy and healthy Thanksgiving with friends and family. Thank you all for your support!

Hi friends, I know, lots of deck pictures lately. Well, how about a window project! We replaced this big front window last week, and what a difference.The client was so happy to finally be able to see out this window. Hi friends, sorry for the delay in the big reveal. Our vendor forgot to order the screws for the decking, so we were delayed a few days. Just so you all know, this is our favorite kind of project. It involves our three main services. We took out the old WINDOW, replaced it with a beautiful new DOOR, and added a brand new maintenance free DECK! It turned out great! Do you have a project that involves WINDOWS, DOORS, and/or DECKS? That's our specialty! Start to finish in just four days (not including the delay). Have a great week everyone.

Hi friends, are you ready for this one? This porch was in pretty rough shape. The right corner had sunk about 3 inches. We sometimes can work with an existing frame of a porch, but in this case, the best option was to completely rebuild. That's what we did. We installed 6 new Postech screw piles, so this porch won't ever sink or move again. We then trimmed it with white PVC trim, covered it with Azek Slate Gray PVC Porch and Floor decking, supported it with RDI Endurance Colonial posts and rails, and finished the underside with Tando rock siding. What a show stopper! Completely maintenance free now. Start to finish in 8 days. We're so proud of how this one turned out. What do you think of this one?

Hi friends, happy Fall! This was such a great project in Brewer. The client had been trying for a long time to find a contractor to help her with her front steps. She said nobody would call her back. We called her back! We only had to remove the first layer of brick to give us enough room to build right over it, thus saving her a ton in disposal fees. She wanted no maintenence, and that is what she got! Azek Slate Gray PVC decking and RDI Titan Pro rails! Custom PVC lattice as well. Client was so happy with the results. Start to finish in just 12 hours. We've already been contacted by two neighbors wanting work done! What a compliment. What do you all think of this curb appeal transformation?

Hi friends, here's another one. This deck was in pretty bad shape. It was poorly designed originally. The original stairs took up a ton of deck space, and it had this unused corner. Well, we took care of it all. We increased the deck size, squared it off, and ran the new stairs off the front by adding a landing. We also filled in the awkward corner so it's now usable space. Then we added a new staircase heading to the garage making it easy to move deck furniture for the winter. As a bonus, it's now all maintenance free with Azek PVC Castle Gate hidden fastener decking, white PVC trim, and RDI Endurance PVC colonial railings. Just beautiful! Start to finish in just seven days. Yes, decks are taking a little longer now. Our awesome helper Isaac started school again, so we're now a crew of just two!! Let me know what you think of this one. More coming with this amazing pre-fall weather!

Hi friends, sorry I haven't posted in a bit, but we've been busy!! Check out this huge deck project we did recently. The existing frame was fine, so no framing on this one. However, the decking was so bad, we had to demo it from below for safety reasons. All fixed up now! Brand new pressure treated decking and beautiful white vertical cable rail. We also added a new staircase to the patio with railings going on tomorrow. Now, I know what you're thinking. Why not maintenance free decking on this one? Well, the client works in the wood products industry and was trying to stay loyal. Can't hate on that! It was hot on this one, but the guys did an amazing job. We even did the small balcony so it all would match. Got a great shot of the main deck from the lift. We have several more projects this year, so more to come. What do you all think of the vertical cable rail?
