Two new products we've introduced this weekend: pickled cherries and escabeche!

🍒🍒pickled cherries🍒🍒
Spiced cherries flavored with cinnamon, clove, and allspice. Try these cherries in a quinoa salad along with feta or goat cheese, herbs, and veggies or stuffed in a pork loin. Don't dare throw that syrup down the drain though! Reduce it into a glaze and serve over chicken or pork, as a meat marinade, or the base for a salad dressing.

🌶🥕🌮escabeche 🌮🥕🌶
Pickled Mexican veggies. Try it wrapped in a warm buttered tortilla or top your favorite texmex dish with the crisp and salty pickled goodness of onion, jalapeño, carrot, and cauliflower with garlic and Mexican Oregano.

If you weren't able to get your hands on either of these new products this weekend, don't worry because we'll be restocking this week and will have more for you next week at the Bartlesville Farmers Market.

Good evening Bartlesville! Rabbit Hole Homestead will NOT be at the Bartlesville Farmers Market this weekend but we will be setup as a meet and greet vendor at the Farm Hippie Picklefest 2026 from 12PM-4PM. We will have our delicious Havarti Dill Pickle Focaccia as well as all of our delightful pickled canned goods you love and some new products sure to surprise you that we are revealing for the first time tomorrow at picklefest!

Shop the amazing Farmer's Market vendors early in the morning before the potential rain rolls in and then join us later in the morning and afternoon, INSIDE during the rain. It's sure to be a fun day and we're looking forward to seeing everyone in the afternoon.

This past weekend we spent some time playing in the dirt and dug up our first 2 rows of potatoes for the year. We planted these rows in March and honestly we pulled them a little earlier than I planned for but we’re constantly having to monitor and adjust plans due to weather conditions and pest pressure.

(Without consulting my notes for verification) I believe each row was roughly 10 foot long and was planted with approximately 1 pound of seed potatoes each. I've included the pictures of the final tally that we harvested once we got the dirt knocked off. We are really proud of our yield to plant ratio as small backyard gardeners!

It was such a relief to have a great crop after disappointing potato crops the last 2 years. Of course we needed to eat a meal from the garden to celebrate and luckily my green beans are starting to come in strong so we made an easy oven bake Sunday night using potatoes, beans, and garlic from our garden and tossed in some smoked sausage. It was delicious!

Hopefully our russet crop will be as successful when it's time to dig them up! This first round of spuds are currently curing and will be at the Bartlesville Farmers Market in a couple weeks.

It was a warm day at the Bartlesville Farmers Market but so great to see everyone's smiling faces!

We got busy and forgot last weekend, so let's get back on track with our Saturday Stockup! Show me all the good stuff you found at the Market today, or your favorite find, regardless of vendor. On Wednesday, we'll draw a winner from the folks that participated and you'll get a loaf of our classic sandwich bread.

Sometimes the best laid plans, don't go as planned and this hasn't been the easiest start to the Market season here at Rabbit Hole. You've likely noticed our stock has been running low for a while now and our bread deliveries to Early Bird Market haven't been very consistent. I want to apologize for this and let you know that I'm working as hard as I can to replenish our stock and get back to our regular schedule.

I also want to thank everyone who has stuck with us through these difficult times. The folks who have continued to show up, to seek out our products, and support us through this challenge. Every loaf of bread, cookie, or canned good you buy, is helping with medical bills right now and making it possible for me to get the care I need to return better than ever. We'll still be at the farmers market every weekend and I'm very hopeful that we'll be back up and running 100% before too long.

Good morning Bartlesville Farmers Market!

It's been a beautiful day at the market today. We picked up strawberry Tres leche from Dulce de Mundi by Patty, fresh strawberries from Lor Farms, and had breakfast from Nou's Garden.

What treasures did you find at the Market today? Leave a picture of your haul, or your favorite find, in the comments section. On Wednesday I'll put everyone that participated into a number generator and draw a winner for a loaf of our classic sandwich bread, available for pickup next Saturday at the market.

Best of luck to everyone!

EDIT: there was just much good stuff at the market today so I need to add the goodies I found after my post. We've got:
🔸️Kale, red potatoes, and peas from Lor Farms
🔸️Lettuce from Pure Pastures.
🔸️Sore Muscle Balm from Jordan's Crossing Healthy Connections.
🔸️Carrot cake from BlueSky Farm
🔸️ground wagyu beef from Morning Star Cattle Company
