Hey Baton Rouge friends, the Candle kitchen has an exciting change to announce! The create your own candle events will now be held in the events room at the Royal Standard’s Crown Bistro, located at 16016 Perkins Road. Be on the lookout for class dates coming up soon! We are excited about this transition, and can now offer private parties in the Bistro as well for parties of 6 or more.
This being said we are in the process of downsizing kitchen space in the back and have some gorgeous furniture and fixture pieces for sale. Posting some pics in the comments below a little later today.

We love custom orders! Met the sweetest lady at Market at the Mill this weekend.  She came bolting for our booth because she had seen a lady walking out with one of our dough bowl candles. She told me the only thing that she will burn in her house is a sugar cookie or a sweet scented candle. While we didn’t have anything there like that, I let her know about our customization options and let her know about our yummy scents. The whole time I was making this crème brûlée Candle, my 9 year-old was talking about how hungry he was and wanted something sweet. 😂 It smells phenomenal, and it made my day that she loved the candle so much that she came out to find us. I get requests frequently for classes in the evening. We are doing a pop up this Wednesday at a gorgeous new store here in Baton Rouge. Norah is hosting a Wine down Wednesday makers event every Wednesday in October. Should be so much fun! Come sip and create with us, friends!

Did a little “Fall Sprucing” today in the candle kitchen located inside Royal Standard. Light colored pumpkins this go round- I’m not ready for all of the deeper colors juuuust yet in this section. 💖💖💖The bright wreath sashes make me so happy too. Who else is going bright this year?
