Have you ever wanted to learn more about citrus trees and how to graft them? Now’s your chance!
📅 Join us on July 29th for a hands-on Citrus Grafting Class at the Gulf Coast Research & Extension Center on HWY 104 in Fairhope.
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
💵 Cost: $20 per person
🌱 Each attendee will get to graft their very own citrus tree!

New City of Bay Minette T-shirts are stocked and available for purchase in support of the Bay Minette Beautification Committee. The shirts are available in four colors – Navy, Red, Pink and Light Blue. New Bay Minette 36507 bingo shirts are also available. Each shirt is $20 and proceeds from the sale will benefit Beautification projects in the community. Special thanks to Marlee Bailey for the design and to 251Graphix for printing the shirts. Stop by Bay Minette City Hall to purchase one while supplies.

Clean Out & Recycle Day will be held 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 26, at Bay Minette City Hall. The free event will feature various stations set up in the parking lot to collect grease, aluminum, metals, cardboard, electronics, medications, ink cartridges, soda tabs, and numerous other items. A shredder will also be set up for documents and files and a drop-off for tires will be set up as well. This is a great time for a good spring clean out.

The northbound lane on Hand Avenue, between Third and Fourth Street, will be closed to traffic Jan. 20-27 to allow for infrastructure upgrades. The southbound lane and a portion of the middle turn lane will remain open.
