Recently finished up a cove lighting design for this Flatiron apartment! 💥

Cove lighting is a type of up-lighting that focuses light by directing it toward a ceiling plane from a cove on one or more sides of a room to create a diffuse of illumination. 💡

A huge benefit of this type of lighting is that it generates less heat, while still providing the proper amount of illumination in a room. This is an important feature especially during the hot summer months. Our cove lights are equipped with an adjustable dimming controller that allows you to adjust the amount of brightness with a single press of a button.

This walk-in shower is complete with the 3RT’S signature stamp of a rain shower head along with an accompanying handheld device.

The bathroom is fitted with ceramic marble tiles laid horizontally to create a sense of width and spaciousness along with the 10’ high ceilings.

Both the toilet and vanity are hanging from the wall to accentuate the beauty of the tile floor in it’s entirety.

There where no specific rules in the building bylaws about installing a mechanical exhaust fan, however installing mechanical exhaust fans can sometimes create an unwanted vibration and disturb other tenants in the building. We decided to spend the extra money to find the quietest possible exhaust fan to install, and as a result have had zero complaints from anyone in the building.

Our clients wanted us to create a country-style look in their new Manhattan apartment.

🧱We installed a brick backsplash with multi-color bricks that were cut into very thin pieces to create a warm, rural, and inviting aesthetic for the kitchen.

We also installed open shelving and hanging brackets for pots and pans to create an effective and easily accessible workflow setup, as well as save storage space.

Finally we completed the island with a custom hand-made butcher block to create the ultimate country look for this kitchen! 👀 👀 👀

🔨‼️For this project the owner wanted us to create a perception of separation between the eat-in area and the kitchen itself, despite the fact that both areas were part of the same room.

🧐💭We decided to install black cabinetry with glass door fronts in the eat-in area, and white cabinets with shaker doors in the rest of the kitchen to create an airy, open, and inviting contrast for the space.

👨🏻‍🎨🎨With this creative approach to kitchen remodeling, we were able to achieve the separation within the same room without establishing any clashing elements or tones, all while maintaining a cohesive atmosphere for our client who was very pleased to see the final product in her new apartment!
