Labor Day is 12 days away! 🇺🇸💦 Now is a good time to make sure your pool is clean, balanced, and ready for the holiday weekend.
Here’s a simple Southeast Texas pool prep timeline:
Aug. 25–28: Test your water, check chlorine and pH, make adjustments, and stock up on anything you’re running low on.
Aug. 29–30: Shock the pool Saturday evening with the pump running.
Aug. 31–Sept. 4: Continue normal maintenance, check chlorine regularly, and skim the surface daily.
Sept. 4: Give the pool its final Labor Day prep shock in the evening.
Sept. 5: Do a quick morning water test and skim so the pool is ready for weekend swimmers.
Hosting 10+ swimmers? Consider an additional shock Sunday or Monday evening after heavy use, following the product label directions.
And remember: chlorine tabs belong in a floater or inline chlorinator, not the skimmer.
Our Labor Day Bundle is available now with shock, chlorine tabs, and algaecide. Free local delivery is available on qualifying orders of $75+ in Beaumont and $150+ in Lumberton.
