I know you all have been wondering what Pop’s Custom Woodworking has been up to these days. Well the past few days I have tore down a deck and dug footings for a new one. I have rebuilt the deck and will now be starting on the Trex boards and railing system. I have to give a big shout out to my awesome helper, Janie. She has stuck by me the whole time. She did go on strike one time and picketed in the back of my truck until she received some lunch. Lucky a door dasher brought her some and I was able to negotiate a go back to work!!! Well stay tuned for the finishing touches. One thing for sure that deck is solid. Pop is not as young and not as fast but his quality is superior.

Just finished up this set of corn hole boards. Used the last two pics to create the boards. Onto the next project.

I headed out for boot camp in December of 1994. I crossed the parade deck in February of 1995. I served 4 years then received my honorable discharge in December of 1998. I still had to serve another 4 years of inactive service. My Dad served in the Army during the Vietnam war (need to dig up pics of him). My wife served 12 years in the Army Natonal Guard. My Brother in law retired as a Master Sergeant. My Uncle Joey also served in the Army. I come from a family that served thier country. Semper Fi to all the Marines, and a thank you to all who served in any branch of the armed forces.
