Kids LOVE these chicken fried steak fries!
Cubed steak
Tossed in flour, baking powder and seasonings
Fried to golden brown
Dipped in country gravy
Eat fresh or freeze for a delicious quick meal! 😍

It’s not tallow, but a little bit of our everyday life gets thrown in every now and then. 😆

How do you use tallow in the summer?! The air isn’t dry, but the sun is hot! For my mild sun burn, I used Frankie! The next day my skin was perfectly sun-kissed. (Here’s my before and after) I have heard from many other people about Maggie helping with sunburns as well! And honestly, I think it’s the tallow more than the additions that helps! Don’t sit in stiff, painful agony over a sun burn. Have some tallow on hand to help your skin recover quicker!

Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who laid down their lives in service to others.

As we shape the atmosphere of our homes, we have the privilege of doing more than remembering for a moment. We can cultivate hearts of gratitude in our homes. Through stories, conversations, and the rhythms of everyday life, we can gently teach our children the virtue of thankfulness and build habits that help them recognize the blessings and freedoms they have been given.

May we honor those who sacrificed not only with our words, but by raising children who grow with gratitude, humility, and an understanding that many gifts come at a cost.

So what have we been up to while enjoying our newest buddy?! Well,
Sam has been faithfully working hard to get this season’s crop in the ground and sprayed. 🚜The boys and I have been on a long road trip, 🚙and while we were gone, got to see a polar bear! 🐻‍❄️ That was super cool. We also started school back up! 📝We even made it back west to visit family and friends, and even got to tour a friend’s growing flower farm! 💐🌷

This is what my days have looked like. 😍 I don’t ever want to forget the tiny snuggles. 🥹 The boys and I have been traveling quite a bit this last month visiting lots of family, too! But it’s about time for my little break from tallow to be over! 😆 Gearing up for summer, Coffee Sugar Scrub is something I can’t get enough of! It’s like a 2 in 1, Exfoliating and moisturizing at the same time! 🤩

Family game night is quickly becoming a favorite around here. Anyone have any favorite house rules? Ours was the littlest gets to lay any card he wants and the rest of us play it as a wild card! Super fun to get to include everyone in the card game. 🥰
