Last year the Robins started making a nest atop the beam under the back porch rafters but didn't like how often I come and go from the back door. This year they decided to improve upon the nest and tolerate me, yay! They have four beautiful robins egg blue eggs in there!

While out in Eagle Crest delivering plans for a client I decided to snap some photos of Ghost Trees/Juniper Snags for another client as that area is abundant in all varieties of Juniper trees. I love how sculptural they are!!!
I also stopped at Empire Stone to look at the Ghost Trees they have in stock, who would have thunk that dead trees could be so beautiful!

Joined branches from two tree trunks!
Have you ever seen this?!? These are two branches on separate trunks of the same tree that have joined. I've walked by this tree for three years and finally really saw this tree. Can anyone explain this? So wonderful!!!
