I have been so busy that I haven’t had time to post any recent pictures of what we do. I just wanted to say thank you to all of my customers who continue to refer my services as well as allow me to tackle any renovation/improvement thrown my way. This week I was all over the area just knocking out little projects. Something different everyday keeps you sharp and learning new tricks every time. I never have a master plan, but can promise you I will give you 110% every time. Here is a recap of each day for you to get a better understanding of what I do, and no job is to small. Friday afternoon was a laundry room floor, remove foldout iron and close off with rock, all new baseboard, custom threshold, and little door adjustment. Willingboro

Friday morning little bathroom makeover to get a different more modern look. Wallpaper was peeling at seams so I put slats on each seam which gives a new look as well as a bit different. Also new faucet, painted ceiling, and installed new shutoffs to the sink. Phil’s

Thursday was not a washout so I bent some metal and did a small capping job as well as reinforced gutters. Croydon

Wednesday I made my way into Bristol and Removed existing facia as well as any rotted wood, gutter and replaced with all new facia gutter and drip edge. BRISTOL

Tuesday was another odd job day which I enjoy because it keeps you thinking. Two screen door installs as well as a ceiling fan repaired some block and also patched up a chimney. South Philly

Monday was a great day with the installation of a set of French doors, trim work as well as a small shingles roof. Hamilton

Sunday funday was nice day to do some siding. What a difference! This really added some much needed curb appeal!

The unfortunate truth of owning and running a business.

Running a business is really hard.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store.

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work life balance. You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend... it’s one of the hardest things you will try and balance

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed. It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.

Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives. Be kind, be patient, support small businesses…….and hopefully more of us will stick around!

Be careful letting just anyone work on your home!! I recommend doing some homework before making that decision, because a true contractor will have his credentials in order.
