Vortex Water Features utilizes a unique, low maintenance and inexpensive filtration system with its pond installations. Inspired by nature, the BioBog is a living filter separate from the pond that is integrated into the overall pond design. As pond water circulates throu

gh the BioBog the natural elements of the bog environment remove impurities from the water, maintaining a biologically balanced ecology. Due to this biodiversity the BioBog is rich in nutrients, making it a natural habitat for plants, birds, beneficial insects, and amphibians. The only mechanical requirement for the BioBog is an inexpensive, low wattage pump.
