There’s a spider making a web 16’ up in the open between 2 trees , one strand too the ground one to a tree 10’ away and another 2’feet away it’s the equivalent of me throwing a rope to the other side of s 200’ long gorge another to the bottom of it 300’ down and tying them together and building a house in the middle …… crazy amazing nature !

DNA for the day …. Pulling a 2x10 up and splinter to the arm . Another job marked for future civilizations . 🤦🏼‍♂️

Put handrail on and nailed the steps down . Homeowner doing the stain and painting ….. it’s looking rough lol wish I’d taken the pics before they got it all splotchy and paint all over the edges …. Don’t know why I left the stairs loose for stain if they were just gonna not paint or Finnish anything .

Every riser a different height …. 7”-7 1/2”- 71/4”. Every tread different size 91/4”/101/2”/111/4”…. Every 2xhanging over . Homeowner built stairs …. Next time theres gonna be major up charge for dealing with this crap. It gets worse going up from the landing 🤦🏼‍♂️

Milling parts for stairs. People ask why a set of stairs cost so much … well the materials Alone are about 2000-2300$ then theres the having to go to 3 different places to get materials because the client wants certain look and certain grab rail or posts and of course no one carries everything … then of course the landing needs to match the treads so milling oak to make T&G for that …all the gas and labor before even installing and gee wonder why the price is so high ….
