I love a design challenge, and this bathroom was just that! My longtime friends moved into a beautiful new home, but the primary bath needed a complete reimagining. Despite the small footprint, a few thoughtful changes made room for abundant storage and a layout that feels both beautiful and functional- all within nearly the same footprint!

Sharing some details from our recently completed nursery in Huntsville 💚 Designed for a grandmother who wanted a special place to welcome her grandchildren, I drew inspiration from a Beatrix Potter story that was sentimental to her- Jeremy’s Tea Party 🐸🫖 The end result was traditional, colorful, and included elements of art from the story!

I’m excited to announce that I’ve been asked to participate on a discussion panel at the University of Alabama, being hosted by Kravet next Friday! Kravet’s Student Design Workshop is an exciting program giving students the opportunity to hear from industry leaders on all aspects of Interior Design. I personally used to love when the CHES school had designers from the “real world” come speak to us, so I’m excited to give back to the school in a way that will hopefully excite and inspire the current students!

Hallway update for a client today ✨ Have to show some major appreciation to the Valet Moving team- They navigated a tight and turning staircase with an absolutely giant and heavy mirror to get this thing set in place, all with excellent communication with each other, no bad attitudes, and no scratches on the wall. They always amaze me- I couldn’t do my job without them!

Enjoyed being a part of the design of the two downstairs bedrooms at ’s rental property in Tuscaloosa! Each room has two queen beds for hosting many guests. The panels work to add texture and pattern, but more importantly they hide an awkward corner in the room and a random window on the other end of the wall!

One week to design, source, and renovate two bathrooms at Chez Fon Fon- Mission accomplished as they re-open for lunch today! Loved bringing in their signature merlot color from the dining room to the ladies and adding a dark charcoal-y brown to the handsome men’s room. The Alabama white marble had the most gorgeous pink undertones to complement the wine colored walls (which photographed more red- see the last picture for a better idea of the color). Use your imagination to see a lamp shade in the ladies, all of the pictures hung, and no clamps on the countertops 🤪

This crisp and clean bathroom is one of my favorite before and afters! Since we were working with a small space, we were able to do quality finishes throughout the room- the marble tile and white oak vanity give this room an elegant, classic feel ✨
