Recently, I have had the opportunity to paint live at the weddings of two lovely couples, one near the Charlotte / Rock Hill area and the other in the Gaffney / Spartanburg area. I had a wonderful time at both weddings, learned a lot, and I have decided that I am going to pursue Live Event Painting as a profession. Since I have one more year before I graduate with my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Winthrop University, my most free months are June—August.
This is why I am offering a highly discounted price for the next two couples to book a Live Wedding Painting at a wedding occurring June—August 2026. The average cost of a live painting *starts* around $1,600 (and most prices reach much much higher), but I will be offering less than half of that as the starting price for the next two weddings booked in these next few months. (Please reach out for details! Travel is possible, depending on distance!)
If you are a couple who is getting married after August, please don’t hesitate to reach out— my prices will still be discounted from the average wedding painting cost after August, as I will be working to build my portfolio so I can pursue this professionally post graduation! Similarly, I am offering commissioned wedding paintings for couples who have gotten married in the past and want a painting to remember that day. Grandparents, relatives, and friends of an engaged couple could consider a wedding painting as a unique group gift (with permission from the couple if it is a live painting, of course).
