Scenic Grounds Job Posting
We are looking for an experienced crew leader for full-time year round employment with guaranteed hours in the winter months. We work on primarily commercial properties (occasional residential jobs in summer). Depending on the amount of experience and ambition we have room for additional responsibilities and pay and bonuses will reflect this. You'll have weekends and many Fridays off in the summer season. In winter months you'll have guaranteed 60-80 hrs per 2 week pay period (guarantee will be determined at job offer and based on qualifications).

Scenic Grounds Maintenance has been serving commercial customers throughout the Twin Cities since 1985. We work on many Class A buildings throughout the metro and take pride in our customer's satisfaction and our great team of people who help make it possible! We enjoy working outdoors and take pride in the properties we service.

In winter months we guarantee hours per pay period and try to have a flexible schedule when we can. We need someone who understands the urgency of snow removal work for our customers.

Daily Responsibilities

Responsible for managing & working with a crew and depending on experience and ambition could be overseeing other crews (summer & winter) to ensure jobs are completed in a safe and professional manner.
Positive attitude and ability to work and communicate with other team members.
Safely operate equipment such as: commercial mowers, grass trimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, skid loader, wood chipper, truck with trailer, etc...
Daily fill out paperwork for completed tasks and follow up on pending work
Ability to safely lift 50lbs repeatedly
Qualifications and Experience

1+ Year experience preferred in the commercial lawn, landscape maintenance and snow removal industry, but will consider others as well.
Experience operating some or all equipment such as: skid loader, front end loader, farm tractor, mini excavator, commercial lawn mowers, chainsaw, hedge trimmers, etc... preferred.
Experience communicating, managing/overseeing, and keeping track of 1 or more crews work schedule.
Insurable Drivers license
DOT Medical Card or ability to pass physical
Commercial pesticide applicator license a plus but not necessary
