Had the chance to walk through this custom home today during framing. It’s always rewarding seeing the design take shape — and the views out the back are incredible. This one is going to be special!

Working through rooflines, materials, and proportions to give this home a balanced modern farmhouse look. The goal at this stage is making sure the overall feel and character are heading in the right direction before moving into the detailed construction drawings.

Excited to see this one continue to take shape.

Always a great feeling getting progress photos from clients — especially when framing is underway.

This home in Salt Lake City is officially taking shape, and seeing the plans move from screen to structure never gets old. Framing is one of those milestones where everything starts to feel real — room sizes, ceiling heights, and how the layout actually lives.

Grateful for clients who take the time to share updates along the way. Can’t wait to see this one continue to come together.

Preliminary design is headed to the client for review!
This is always one of the most fun stages of the process — layouts, elevations, and ideas really start to take shape and feel like a real home. Looking forward to dialing in the details from here.

✨ Before & After — Updated Renderings! ✨
I’m resharing this project with new visuals that better highlight the transformation.

What started as a simple split-level became a completely reimagined craftsman-inspired home. The redesigned entry, expanded layout, refreshed exterior materials, and improved roofline give it a whole new presence.

Seeing the “before” next to the updated rendering really shows what thoughtful design can do.
