Let's talk about *Who do we serve?
*Who are we a good fit for?
'Sheds Built On-Site LLC' is a small, but thriving, on-site shed building business. We are proud to have hundreds of sheds across NC, VA, and SC. We even have a shed in New York State!
*We are here to serve folks with fenced or gated yards, HOA communities, and hard to access areas, where delivery companies can't reach.
*We are a good fit for anyone who wants a shed or needs more storage, wants to re-access their garage and don't want to remove a section of fence... that pretty tree... your dog lot.... don't want to destroy your flower beds you work so hard on! We will also build your shed out in the middle of a fully accessible field, just because you want us to, and we can!
You want a pool house but already fenced the area in? We got you. The access to your desired area is steps, trees, a hill, or retaining wall? No problem, that's what we're here for.
You simply like our pricing, our quality, and choose us because you want to? We love that, too!
We work very hard to bring high quality customer service, construction, and an overall great experience to every single one of our past, current or potential customers AND try our best to stay within competitive pricing with the shed market. (Ask a contractor to build a shed, you'll be looking at 3x the price)
What does that hard work look like?
Picture this: We've been up since 3am to tend our morning chores, drove 2hrs to your house to be there by daybreak (no daylight must be wasted, right?), parked at the front of your house, by the closest back yard access gate. We have hundreds of pounds of tools to set up, and thousands of pounds of wood to move to (usually) the very back corner of your back yard. By noon it's 95 degrees, full sun, still carrying your 12x16 materials piece by piece, sometimes as far as 100yds. We have taken the tedious time to level the shed, squared the floor, and likely have 4 walls up, ready to set the rafters and sheet the roof. We still have to paint the shed and install the hardware, windows, roof, and any additions (loft, shelf, ramp). All which take time to be done well and properly.
Shed shops are in the shade(usually inside a warehouse, with fans), on level concrete ground, and most have all their materials delivered to them via forklift. All tools are ready and waiting at their station when they clock in, and they get a lunch break, with no rush of the sunlight to worry with. Clock in at 7, clockout 8-10hrs later and go home and not a single thought crosses their mind when they leave. We still have messages to answer, customers to schedule with, and advertising to do.
Some shops have separate sections, framing, painting, roofing, a team pre-cutting their wood, etc. Therefore, some framers can't paint, install roof, etc.
Us? We do it all. All while staying competitive with the shop-built shed prices. Did I mention, we are just a two-woman team? 😉

Now, let's talk about what who we don't serve, and who we're not a good fit for.
We don't serve anyone who simply does not want to work with us, for any reason at all.
-Price too high? We understand, times are hard and not everyone can afford a new shed. That's okay.
-We don't offer your desired style? We understand, some of you guys are looking for something from Pinterest, and they're usually super cute, we don't blame you for wanting that! We just don't offer that at this time.
- We can't get to you fast enough? Shew, we wish we could, but trust me when I say, we are blessed to be this busy, and if you can wait, we're forever grateful! If you can't, we get it - life doesn't stop!
We are also not a good fit for anyone looking for a cheap product, or looking for something for free, and we are unapologetic about that. We understand quality, and we just simply will not budge on that just to make a sale. Our business is thriving because we bring a quality product to all of our customers 100% of the time.
We post a lot of listings on Facebook Marketplace, and 100% of our listings, all of the time, include our listing price explanation inside of ALL of our listing descriptions.
It is impossible to list prices for 16 shed sizes and all the varying options in one text box. So, we list an (and I can't emphasize this enough) **estimated** monthly finance payment for our **smallest shed** as the price on all our listings. This is a starting point, and it helps our listings get seen by more people and it lets them know immediately that we do have a payment plan available.
Realistically, this disclaimer is solely in place to keep the freebee folks from crying 'false advertising'. Yet, we still get them, and honestly, we think it's downright silly to NEED the disclaimer at all... but to also get 1-star ratings from those folks, trying to tear us down for their lack of due diligence, is wild. (If you've seen that, you know what we're talking about)
The folks who think they can get an entire shed built from the ground up, built the way they want it, in their yard, for little to no money, with no regard of the work and skill it entails to navigate the job at hand, is who we are not a good fit for. We encourage those folks to continue looking and wish them luck in finding something that works for them.
We do NOT go to their page and tear them down because they don't purchase from us, but we did want to bring this to everyone's attention, because we know one bad apple can ruin the whole batch.
We are hard working women out here doing a hard labor job and we're appreciative of each and every single one of our customers who have chosen us and kept us thriving. We believe in making educated decisions and free will, and we believe leaving bad reviews because you didn't get a free item is just nasty behavior.
So, all that being said, if you are looking for a quality shed company, who will spend whatever time it takes to make sure you get a shed you're happy with and can depend on to last for many years, look no further. We haven't been thriving by being the cheapest. We've made it by providing a quality product and listening to our customers.
