Hi! We have a lot of catching up to do! 😬

First off, HAPPY NEW YEARS! I hope 2022 has been treating you well so far and your staying safe from all the bad going on in the world!

Secondly, some of you may be asking or none of you at all 😂 where have I been and why haven’t I been posting or being active. Well I have recently moved! Sadly I am no longer in Massachusetts and now resided the good old state of Michigan. It has definitely been a busy couple of weeks on my end. With packing, decluttering, then the big move and unpacking and settling in which has taken me away from being active here. I have big plans, and so many ideas for this year and our little community.

With all the big news, sadly I will not be launching a valentines day collection. I’ll be taking a little break. Right now I have a lot on my plate and have been feeling really drained and uncreative and unmotivated. Sadly running a business is not always sunshine and rainbows and I have to realize when I need to take a break and give myself one.

During that break I do want to do a little bit of work with what I have in mind for this year, while also resting and continue to settle in. I will definitely be doing behind the scenes, and little sneak peaks along the way as I love to give little teases.

I hope you’re patient with me, and I promise you when I come back I will be well rested and better than ever!

With the crazy festivities that come with Black Friday + Cyber Monday & the Holidays I wanted to take this time to share what I’m thankful for this year!

I am thankful for my YOU! My amazing EmpowHER Familia that have supported me and my small business. Never in a million years will I ever be able thank you all enough for all you have done! Forever grateful.

Coming up on my second year as a entrepreneur, 1 year as officially EmpowHER Candles it has definitely been a learning experience. I, for one, cannot say I have everything mastered but I’m starting to learn and except that asking for help is OK.

I’ve been able to be apart of a group of empowering women part of the small business community. They have definitely taught me a lot.

In summary I have had soo much to be thankful for this year!

“Yes We Can” is what I kept telling myself while creating this Winter Collection.

Yes I can finish it on time
Yes I can take pictures that I’m proud to post
Yes I can continue to creat quality candles
Yes I can get through the stress of launch day
Yes I can go live today

This Collection was finalized later than I wanted and I have to tell myself that’s okay. It’s better to create something of quality and value rather than making something you are not 100% proud of. So yes it is okay to delay something to be able to create something better!

Now I can take a deep breath and be proud of this collection!

It’s FriYAY! Which means a mocha frappe and over here!!

I realize I haven’t formally introduce myself as our has grown ♡ !!! So what better way to introduce myself than doing 5 fun facts about moi ♕

1) I am a twin to a boy who surprisingly shares a lot of the same interests as I do. For example, we went to two different high schools in two different states, and both magically picked the same jersey number without even communicating. Even more weird, we are both soccer coaches for high school teams, and got the job the same day without telling each other. I am better than him though because I’m a varsity coach and he’s a JV coach 😁💁🏽‍♀️

2) I am probably the weirdest person you’ll ever meet (last picture is literally me all the time). I love making funny faces, and love saying dry jokes. I will get on a table or chair and dance like I am the main stage performer and no one can tell me otherwise 😂 I just really love having a good time and making sure everyone around me is as well.

3) Surprisingly enough I am a shy person 👉🏽👈🏽 if you know me I’m always the first to say something in groups or in team activities. When I am out I usually don’t go up to people and introduce myself if I don’t know them. Something that’s a goal of mine for next year.

4) I am a living, breathing and to a tea Virgo babe (Sept. 10)! Everything they say about Virgos describes me. Never related to something in my life more then being a Virgo 😂

5) Lastly I am a dog mom. And every day I question my insanity and who led me down the dog owner bath (I swear I love her)…. (Sometimes some days more than others)

Did you know that today’s ?? And after graduating college in 2020 I know just how important it is to have a great teacher in your life; who supports you and is there for you (that’s why one day I, myself, want to become a teacher)!

It’s and this month is so near and dear to my heart.

I was young when my grandma, her beautiful self is in the second picture, got diagnosed with breast cancer and I don’t remember much of what she went through. I remember getting told that she was strong and God was fighting along side her, and yes he was! My grandmother was able to get diagnosed early and beat cancers BIG BEHIND!! She’s now almost 85 years old, full of life, and a whole Queen!

This month 10% of all EmpowHER Candle proceeds will be getting donated to a cancer research facility of our, EmpowHER familia, choice! I want everyone fighting breast cancer to get the same results as my grandmother so that we no longer have a whole month dedicated to funding a cure.
