Had the whole amazing house to myself to renovate this bathroom at Sugarbush, Vt. Custom glass doors are going in the shower next. I did the estimate from pictures, I went up and renovated the place, stayed there, and left the place… And never met the owner once. Now is the time to book your summer house projects and I can have it done by the time you get there in the spring. Much thanks to Sam Webb for the referral to his friend on this project and for trusting I'd come through for him.

This is the first bathroom I’ve ever had to remove wallpaper from. Turns out removing the wallpaper is only about 1/5th of the removing the wallpaper part of the job. Getting rid of the glue and the residue and covering the wall marks they hid with the paper and the glue you thought you removed but didn’t realize you didn’t until it was painted and had to redo…and holy hell…it felt like it was never going to end. I priced the wallpaper removal at a days work thinking that would cover all the bases. Turns out it barely got me to first base!! But that’s the way it goes sometimes. Great Boston customers at their house on the Cape and I hope they love the end product.

Another couple weeks and another project completed on the Cape! Second project in a row that I have used that toilet and I feel it is the perfect toilet for a tiny bathroom space. Added a utility wash room, flooring, and ceilings to finish off another section. In the fall after Airbnb season we move over to the basement weight room area and finish that off. Got a chance to spend the afternoon and evening with Caleb at his new place installing an organizer with him for him and his fiancé. Perhaps not as refined as a lot of projects but low cost and low effort were in order since this is a couple year layover to a new house. Speaking of low cost; those stupid shelving parts were $600–not exactly low cost for what you get.
