Lemon Cream Cheese Pound Cake
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups unsalted butter, softened
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
3 cups granulated sugar
6 large eggs
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
Optional glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a bundt or loaf pan. (⏱️ 5 minutes)
Cream butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. (⏱️ 4 minutes)
Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and vanilla. (⏱️ 3 minutes)
Gradually add flour and salt. Mix just until combined. (⏱️ 3 minutes)
Pour batter into pan and smooth top. (⏱️ 2 minutes)
Bake 75–85 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before adding glaze. (⏱️ 85 minutes)
Optional: Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice for glaze. Drizzle over cooled cake. (⏱️ 5 minutes)
