Got to tour this week and it did not disappoint! Great place to donate old appliances or cabinetry after renovating a home, or finding new (to you) stuff to decorate your digz! They help a lot of people in the DMV and are committed to “a healthier environment by retaining and returning the value of used and surplus materials to the community.” Bravo! 👏🏻

Took this client from catch-all chaos to a semblance of a peaceful dining room. It had become a drop zone for gifts, schoolwork, party decor, “future me” projects, etc. With a little editing, and a lot of re-homing and containing, the dining room is usable again. Progress over perfection! 🌈

Amazing mama of 2 under 10 was overwhelmed with having no designated pantry- so anything ended up living anywhere it landed. After purging expired food, moving games to the playroom and food to the games shelf as a makeshift pantry- we were able to find her counters again. Huzzah!

A snow day is the PERFECT time for a closet clean out! Thought I’d share my “system” with y’all- the wiggle and sit test! Like many folk, my weight has fluctuated and I’m just not comfortable in some of my clothes- so I try it on, give a little wiggle, and if I see too many lumps and bumps for my liking- off to donation or resale it goes. I may have kept a couple aspirational items, but not a closet full. I feel better knowing I like everything in my closet and I refuse to let my closet make me feel guilty! I can help you do the same- it’s in my name, Karma KLOSET! Stay warm out there!

After 3 weeks of holiday travel, and 2 weeks of stomach bugs, this family was ready to say goodbye to Christmas. Santa had been very generous to them, so it was time to get rid of the old and make room for the new! These donations will make some kiddoes VERY happy!
