Never in a million years did I imagine this moment…

Being at the same place I once went to school at Bowling Green State University, now with the love of my life and my little princess by my side with THE Falcons in the background.

And this trip makes it even more special… we’re over in Western OH for her state gymnastics meet, and she placed 4th on vault. Watching her chase her dreams while standing in a place that shaped mine… that’s a feeling I can’t even put into words.

Back then, I had no idea what life would become… and now I’m here living it.

Crazy times 😂
My life truly feels like a dream.
I am THE luckiest guy in the world.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful girl, Isla!!

10 years old… or as you like to say, 1 decade old. I’m not quite sure how that even happened. It feels like just yesterday I was walking around the house holding you, trying to get you to fall asleep… and then finally tickling your nose just enough to help you drift off.

There aren’t enough words to explain how much I love you… but I truly love you more than life itself. I couldn’t be a prouder dad. Being your father is the greatest blessing I’ve ever been given.

What amazes me most about you is how you give your whole heart to everything you do. Whether it’s school, gymnastics, or even the little things like cleaning up, you always give it your absolute best. That kind of heart and effort is so special, and it’s going to take you so far in life.

I want you to always know this… I will forever be in your corner. No matter what you choose to do, where life takes you, or what challenges come your way, I’ll always be right there beside you. I’ll always protect you, support you, and love you with everything I have.

You are my pride, my joy, and my whole world.

I’ve known Derek McDowell for a while now, and I can honestly say there are few people who love Youngstown the way he does. Derek has poured his heart into this city, as an entrepreneur, a leader, and someone who truly believes in what Youngstown can become.

He’s not just talking about change he’s lived it, built it, and inspired it in others. I’m proud to call him a friend and even prouder to support him as he runs for Mayor of Youngstown.
