Another week of fun innovation. This one in a basement. The old paneling was destroyed when the basement flooded.

The Regent Senior Center project is complete.
800 square feet of luxury vinyl plank flooring, and a bathroom upgrade.
We'll have more projects in Regent in the coming months.

We're 3 days into a new project.
The city of Regent at the Senior Center.
We have roughly 800 square feet of flooring to install.
The underlayment went down quicker than expected.
And thanks to some great help from our friend Loren, and his trusty sidekick Slash, the beagle, there's over 500 square feet of flooring already in the books.
(Will post a pic of the beagle next week)

Dakota Remodel is currently in search of a carpet layer to help us coordinate flooring projects as they come up.

This has been a fun project.
200 feet of vinyl fence.
To say it's been a long week is an understatement.

This makes my head hurt just looking at it. I feel like I would fall sideways if I crossed that threshold.

Am I overreacting?

After being told a seamless run from room to room wasn't a good idea due to potential expansion, we agreed to transition strips. But THIS is how the aligned the planks from room to room.. it seems really lazy to not try line them up, especially when we were really pushing for a seamless finish. Is this normal? Lazy?

And is it reasonable to ask for a better, less disjointed

finish?

Well folks, it's finally happened. Dakota Remodel is overwhelmed with work, and currently understaffed. (Not a terrible problem to have, right?)
We're looking for someone to help us at least into the winter, when things slow down a little (If they do this year).
No experience required. If you're willing to learn, we're willing to train you.
If you're looking to make some extra money before school starts back up, or retired and just looking for something to do, give us a call.
