Pioneer Wood Products Pioneer Wood Products creates beautiful flooring, ceiling, siding, trusses and more out of lumber we reclaim from old granaries that are no longer in use.

Pioneer Wood Products was founded in 2000 by Francis Van Marter. We reclaim antique granaries that are no longer in use and often a danger to keep standing. Every board is taken off by hand, the exact same way it was built up. We use all materials reclaimed from the buildings and recycle anything that is no longer re-useable. We aim for a better future, both by creating products that will last lif

etimes and by using what was already harvested a century ago instead of aiding in deforestation today. The majority of our lumber is antique old growth Douglas Fir. Our products are much superior to any you will find manufactured today due to both the age of the trees when they were logged and the aging process of the lumber while in the granaries. The unique patina our wood imbues cannot be replicated and there is a finite amount of it, guaranteeing that your order will be one of kind.
