In the name of conservation, I *have* to tweak this list a little bit!
- I retire old, lidless tupperware to the garage, shed, or cleaning supply stash-- unnecessary plastic waste is my #1 pet peeve! Old bowls can be used for paint mixing, oil catching, soapy water holding, sprout starting, the list goes on.
- One commenter said it best: better to have 17 reusable totes than hundreds of plastic grocery bags!
- If the clothes are still in good shape, donate or sell them. No sense in throwing out a perfectly good item of clothing! Trends are cyclical, and today we are wearing tomorrow's "vintage". Learning to mend and staying away from fast fashion are great ways to avoid throwing out and needing to replace staple items annually... but let's stop there before I get into a FF rant!
There is a balance between hoarding and wastefulness, and my goal is to be the little guidance you need to make it your norm. Reach out today and mention this post for 20% off a consultation!
