A cutoff from a window sill replacement that I had to custom make. Five passes through the tablesaw, a fair amount of sanding, and the installed piece was primed and painted. The material is Douglas fir.

Remember to unhook your hose during freezing weather, so I don't have to tear off siding and repair water damage at some point.
And this was a "freeze proof" sillcock/hose bib/spigot. Thankfully, it only leaked when it was turned on, sparing significant damage.

A recent fireplace facelift.
The original upper left corner is not in a shadow, it was actually a different color grout.
The new face now has stepped cut, rough face no grout travertine with woven corners, large format porcelain tile with mitered corners on the hearth, and a hidden bracket live edge mantel.
