On Thursday, April 16th, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, there will be a free Skills to Start event at Red Wing Shoes. This community-driven panel is designed to introduce students ages 16-24 (and their parents) to rewarding careers in the skilled trades.
Attendees will:
-Hear directly from local trades professionals about their career journeys
-Connect with training programs, trade schools, and community organizations
-Explore real opportunities in a supportive environment
-Learn about the RW Trades Scholarship
-Enjoy free food, beverages, and a raffle with free gear, and a chance to win a free pair of boots!
Please share with anyone in the 16-24 y/o age group who might benefit from a real-world panel discussion and Q&A about life in the skilled trades.
