Disappearing kitchen extension in this small apartment helps to declutter and create a playful discovery whenever there’s a requirement to double the size of the kitchen. Revealing the lush walnut hidden behind the large gray doors creates a beautiful backdrop for the kitchen.

Our monolith cabinets in the are perfect bookends for the pre-war windows and city views outside. The walnut wood grain is an important detail to bring a pop of warm color in the desaturated color palette.

The built-in cabinetry that separates the bedroom from the main living area is finished in a weathered gray walnut. A niche cut out in the middle of each face reveals the lush walnut veneer within, creating a focal point to anchor each room on either side as seen in these three different views of the cabinetry. Another feature that is visible in the different vantage points is the playful circular windows that are cut into the doors to the bedroom and bathroom. Circling back to these portholes in our Encase Apartment featured in . A few lazy Friday unedited phone photos from my visit today. I was putting on my shoes on my way out and only the foyer light was on, but the glint ✨ on the brass caught my eye and had to capture that moment. Happy Weekend! Loving all the kind words following the article. 🙌

Happy holidays! Sharing a family tradition I started during COVID, making mint pancakes into a Christmas tree. Sharing a few from back in 2020 for nostalgia when we grew so much mint. Added layered smoothie this year…mint/spinach bottom with strawberry/cranberry top sprinkled icing sugar.
