Almost a year in the making, I have finally finished my biggest commission since I started my little business. 🥹 Each person took at least an hour or more! I didn’t record myself drawing or much of the progress in between because every time I worked on it I was LOCKED IN haha!
If you would have asked me a couple years ago to attempt this I would have said no because I have always been afraid of portraits (and tbh still am)! But this project has pushed me out of my comfort zone and been a learning process overall! My confidence in portraits has definitely grown over the past year and I’m grateful for the practice!
Between raising a toddler, finding out we were pregnant, first trimester sickness, overall tiredness, other commissions in front of her, and life in general, Taylor was MORE than patient and gracious enough to wait as long as she did for this piece! Thank you so so much for trusting me with such a precious gift for your grandmother and overall family, I hope it is treasured for generations to come!
