Hello everyone!
I hope you are all well and enjoying the summer season!
Apparently someone is using our Manton office phone number, calling folks stating they are calling from Verizon.
Our Manton office number is not from Verizon so if you are receiving these phone calls please know it is not Rent a Gardener.
I appreciate folks calling to let me know.

USS Salvager 1953-(not 1952 as previously posted.
My Dad had an experience while in the Navy in 1953 and was hoping to reconnect with those involved.
He was on the ship the USS Salvager when a distress call came over the loudspeaker, man overboard.
This resulted in the crew aboard the USS Salvager rescuing a 14 year old girl from the ocean near Newport, RI.
Once on board, my father was assigned to care for her until they arrived at port and she could reunite with family.
After all these years he would love to reconnect with her.
At the time of this writing, it has been almost 70 years.

We're looking for someone 16 years or older, must have a valid driver's license, and be physically able to lift 50lbs.
Background in farm work, landscaping, mechanical or construction helpful but not required.
Work environment is outdoors and inclement weather is a possibility on occasion.
We offer competitive wages based on experience and performance. Individuals will be trained in the field.

Looks like Victor is in three places at once.
I knew he was quick at getting the work done and now I see how he is able to accomplish this.
He can work in three areas at the same time.
Maybe you can teach me how to do this? Lol!

Super excited to have my nephew on board.
He got right out there yesterday and jumped into the work.

I wanted to say hello!
It feels great to be working in the field again especially with the pandemic and health uncertainty this year. The crew and I are taking all precautions per current social distancing recommendations.

We will be working to complete projects that will have a great impact on the outdoor living spaces of our customers once again this season. Myself and crew are looking forward to bringing these projects to completion in the hopes they bring many years of enjoyment for the recipients.

I've attached photos of the Creeping phlox which is putting on a beautiful showing this spring.
Although a little slow to bloom the lilacs are now putting on their spring display with an abundance of fragrant blossoms.
The seed packets will hopefully be installed in my own garden yet today...fingers crossed!
What will you be growing in your garden this year.
Please share photos of your projects and we will work to do the same.
I wish everyone an awesome growing season and happy planting everyone!

Today Governor Whitmer stated she is allowing lawn and landscape companies to return to work beginning Friday, May 1st, 2020.
We will open and return to work on May,1st.
Myself and crew will be sure to work within the safety guidelines provided by the state to keep everyone safe!
