🍠 Beef, Sweet Potato & Pea Mash for Dogs 🐾🥩🌿
Wholesome, hearty, and tail-waggingly tasty this mash is packed with nutrient-dense ingredients perfect for fueling your dog’s day. Whether your pup needs a boost in energy or just a delicious dinner, this recipe has you covered.
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef (cooked and drained)
2 large sweet potatoes (peeled, chopped, and boiled)
½ cup green peas (fresh or frozen, no added salt)
½ cup spinach or kale (steamed)
½ tbsp olive oil (optional – for healthy fats)
Optional Supplements:
¼ tsp ground eggshell or calcium carbonate (for bone support)
¼ tsp dog-safe multivitamin powder (for added balance)
Instructions:
Peel and chop sweet potatoes. Boil until fork-tender (about 15 minutes), then mash and set aside.
Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain any excess fat.
Steam peas and spinach (or kale) until soft, about 5–7 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, cooked beef, peas, greens, and olive oil. Stir in supplements, if using.
Let the mash cool completely before serving.
Storage:
