Crocuses, as spring flowers for the garden, are also good because after they have faded, any annuals with a weakly developed root system can be sown in their place. It is better to do this before the leaf part of the crocuses has dried out - this way you will put the seeds in the ground a little away from the bulbs, and in the summer they themselves will go a little deeper into the soil. But remember: when weeding summer flowers, try not to damage the bulbs.

Among the reasons for the decrease in the number of crocuses, ecologists mainly cite the so-called human factor: plucking flowers for bouquets, digging them up for transplanting to homesteads and selling them. This is especially common in areas not far from populated areas, where people are most often.
