The unsung hero of interior spaces! 💡

What you don’t hear many builders talk about is how lighting can make or break your space — and that’s the difference in having an experienced designer-builder on your team.

The right placement and color temperature can completely change how your finishes look — even your paint color!
It’s one of those details that separates a builder grade room from a well designed space.

✨ Always plan lighting with intention.

🏡 INTERESTING BUILDING FACT:

Ever wondered how roof pitches are calculated and what they actually look like?
Here’s a quick guide:

🔹 Roof pitch = rise per 12" of horizontal run
🔹 4/12 pitch → rises 4" for every 12" → gentle slope (~18°)
🔹 10/12 pitch → rises 10" for every 12" → dramatic vaulted look
🔹 Your building span and roof pitch determine total ridge height
🔹 When laying out your roof, start measuring from the outside edge of the top plate.
🔹 For interior vaulted ceilings, start from the inside edge of the top plate.
