✨ Another hardwood floor transformation complete ✨

These floors were hidden under carpet for years and had a lot of wear and scratches, but after sanding and refinishing they came back to life beautifully.

It’s always great seeing old hardwood floors uncovered and restored instead of replaced.

Here are the final results from the project we started earlier this week.

After sanding the floors down to bare wood, we applied Antique Brown stain and finished them with Gametime satin oil-based polyurethane. The color really brought out the grain in the wood and gave the floors a clean, warm look.

Always satisfying seeing a floor go from worn out to looking like this again.

Quick progress update on the hardwood floor project we started earlier this week.

The floors are all sanded down to bare wood and almost ready for stain. It’s always interesting seeing the natural wood grain once the old finish is removed.

We’ll be staining and finishing the floors next, so check back soon to see the final result.

Kicking off a new hardwood floor project today in North Syracuse. These floors have seen a lot of years of use, but that’s the great thing about real hardwood — it can usually be brought back to life.

We’ll be getting started on the sanding today and I’ll share some progress photos on Wednesday, so check back to see how things are coming along.
