We never charge extreme prices like $1,000 for a standard garage door spring replacement. If you are quoted a price like that, it is a serious red flag.
Beware of Garage Door Repair Scams Using Our Name
This morning, we received a phone call from a customer claiming that we had replaced their garage door springs a few months ago and that the springs were now failing. I told the customer clearly and honestly:
If we performed the work and there is an invoice proving it was us-and if the issue is related to our installation-we will absolutely make it right. We are human, mistakes can happen, and we stand behind our work.
However, when our technician arrived at the property, there was no invoice available. After inspecting the garage door, it became immediately clear that the springs were not installed by our company. The springs were also the wrong size, and the customer had been charged $1,000 for a standard spring replacement, which is not something we would ever charge for a normal residential garage door.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time scammers have used our company name to mislead customers.
