💧 GUTTER & DRAINAGE SYSTEM UPGRADE 💧
Another drainage project completed by Southeast Contracting LLC.
The existing gutter system had large residential downspouts tied into exposed PVC above ground with an unattractive Y-pipe setup. The old piping ran into a 90° fitting that discharged into the yard without a proper drainage outlet, causing clogging and drainage problems.
We cleaned up the system and gave the water somewhere to go. 🔨
What we did:
• Separated the existing Y-pipe connections
• Extended the downspouts down to ground level
• Installed proper downspout turns to direct the water into catch basins
• Installed 4-inch PVC drainage lines connecting the catch basins
• Routed the drainage lines to a dry well approximately 15 feet from the property
• Created a cleaner-looking system that moves water away from the home and allows it to disperse through the dry well
The finished system looks cleaner, eliminates the unnecessary exposed piping, and provides a much better route for handling the water coming from the gutters.
