Sneak peak at another bathroom transformation in progress. This bathroom had a large tub that was never used to now a functional bench for much needed seating space and storage under the window (and a little more space in the shower!). Bye bye 👋 to the largest corner whirlpool bath tub we’ve ever seen!

Another sneak peek at a library transformation in the works! This might be my new favorite blue - Sherwin Williams Bracing Blue. We can’t wait until we have all the new furniture in place - think lilacs, deep purples and blues with silver and gold accents. It will be a dramatic place for entertaining and gathering.

Wonder what it's like working with House Six18? We always start with a floorplan to understand where and how everything will fit. Our customers answer a survey to give us a sense of their favorite colors, styles, how they plan to use the space, what isn't working today, etc. From there we create a color palette and style theme for the space, which serves as our guide while we are sourcing products and materials for the space. Once we have everything selected, we present the design to our customers! We incorporate any changes needed to perfect the design and once everything is approved (budget, selections, paint colors, finishes fabrics, etc.), we , procuring all the items in the design plan. As part of our procurement services, we inspect everything as it comes in, resolve any issues and then when everything is ready to go we schedule the install and reveal day - aka best.day.ever! Where did House Six18 get its name? The golden ratio 1.618, is a numeric representation that can provide a guide to scale, proportion, color, pattern, texture, etc. It is a repeated ratio found in nature, architecture, photography and art. Designers use it in floor planning, color palettes, lighting and even in deciding where to hang art.
