So, just picked up my new corrugated metal fastener with a box of fasters that will last me hopefully six+ months. The joy in this? It’s not only the strongest and best structural choice to assemble cabinets. It turns assembly of a 20 Cabinet Job from two days into half a day. A word to the wise about this tool. If you have not used one, have no experience using one, I would highly highly recommend having someone else that does use this tool for you. it is extremely powerful with more than a little skill needed to operate without causing excessive damage to material. Still making dreams happen :)

Here’s an update on the latest project. Was flat box assembly and install. I will say some things about this project. It was a learning experience. Installing a project at this level from flat box. Even if you leave the skins off and scribe your seems for the stacks…. There is still flex in the material keeping it from tightly seeming up ie the scribe just isn’t as clean as it should be. So, if you do decide to go this rout and save a ton on materials, expect to paint after install to really make a clean finish that qualifies the end look for the neighborhood. Still making dreams happen :)

Thank you to arrowhead endoscopy for their business. I gotta say it was one of the smoothest projects I’ve had in months. These guys are like a breath of fresh air.
