Just had a chance to take some quick pics of a project that was recently completed. I designed this last year and New Dimensions Construction Company built it. Adding a screen porch to the back of this house was going to compromise too much natural light loss to the existing house so we elected to separate it. I'm looking forward to the client getting their porch furniture set up so that I can get some good finished pics.

We made a quick overnight trip to take a look at the Oak Island house now well under construction. It's really fun to get to see a project like this take shape. Scott Neeley, owner of Black Dog Construction Company is the builder and he and his crew are fantastic. Scott is from Oak Island and has been key in making sure that this house conforms to all the strict building codes.

I've been bad about posting projects but I just found out that a house that I designed on Oak Island just got the go ahead for permitting. I'm really excited because I don't design a lot of houses and this is my first beach house! More to come but this is a sketch model of the exterior. I'll be "forced" to go to the beach while this house is under construction.

I've been very lame and haven't posted anything in a long time. I have several projects under construction right now and I hope to get better photos as they progress. I have designed a house on Oak Island and I'll be making trips to the beach (I know, so sad) as the construction begins. More to come.
